Ketan Jawdekar

Ketan was gifted with Art by his artist father, and his mother, a classical singer. Painting since childhood, he bagged many accolades at the State and National level competitions. Opting for a career in Architecture, he is a successful and well-known Architect with 50 international awards to his credit. Professionally his work has gone digital but his belief lies in hand sketches that take him back to nature and his studio to paint.

His work comprises contemporary paintings in Still life, Landscape, man-made environments and abstracts. His style embodies colour and the tactile qualities of paint, relating and connecting feelings, moods, emotions and reactions to the visual world. His most unique method is the Blindfold Painting, which he performs live, for charity, in front of an audience.
His strong belief that painting is a form of meditation, led him to invent a unique program: Trance Form, where one learns the technique of transforming and channelising one’s emotions in a magical process.
