Valentina Trivedi is a writer, educator and performative storyteller who has engaged with stories in numerous ways: writing scripts, directing short films, editing, translating, adapting and telling stories, most recently on her 7 podcasts [Hindi and English] and a YouTube channel ‘Aao Suno Kahaani’. Among her body of work is a biopic on the world renowned Yoga Guru Sri BKS Iyengar, which she researched, scripted and directed. As a Dastango she not only performs in Urdu and Hindustani but also adapted Satyajit Ray’s film ‘Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne’ into a Dastan for children, complete with songs translated from the original.

As an education consultant, she specialises in approaching the learning process from a child’s perspective and apart from holding workshops for parents and teachers, has been invited to present her views at international conferences. Currently on the Board of Governors of The Doon School, she is the first alumna to be on it.
