Sushmita Singha

Sushmita Singha is a Social entrepreneur. She is the founder of the  JAL Water Museum and Udaipur Tales International Story Telling Festival, she has more than 30 years international & national experience in Industry and development sector. 

She has worked in senior capacities in PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Secretary General, Senior Vice President in Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, Member, UN Task Force for Water & Sanitation (MDG Goals) amongst others in Ministries, Government of India. She is also an honorary member of BRICS Chamber of Commerce and serves as Independent Director on prestigious Boards of companies. She is a published author and has written on mythology and environment. She has been an Advisor to leading Corporates in India and abroad. Sushmita is Life Member of INTACH and was President, MA. My Anchor Foundation, she is dedicated to issues pertaining to environment, education & heritage. She is also an Advisor to a Startup UrbanACAD LLP.

She is recipient of national and International awards which includes Appreciation Award by Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Kabul Municipality and Desha Shri Environmental Award, Srilanka. Post graduate in English, Diploma Holder in Urban Town Planning from HSMI, she has done a course in Enhancement of Managerial Capability from IIM, Lucknow. She has also done a certified course in Life Coaching. Sushmita has been a visiting professor at Institute of Management Studies, YMCA. She has been on Expert Panels and a speaker on prestigious platforms and institutes all over the world.
