Dr Prasad Bhide is a professor of Sanskrit in K J Somaiya College and also a Sanskrit Theatre activist. He has adapted several classical plays in modern form and has written and new modern Sanskrit plays. He has been honoured by Govt of Maharashtra for this contribution to theatre.
