Dr Eric Miller is a native New Yorker, who transplanted to Chennai. In New York City, he studied with professional storytellers. He has earned a PhD in Folklore from the The University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Madras. Dr Eric is helping to develop the field of Storytelling Therapy -- a method which can also be used for Life Coaching and Personality Development. Dr Eric has
taught at 6 colleges: 3 in New York City, and 3 in Chennai. He directs the World Storytelling Institute and the annual Chennai Storytelling Festival; he is a Co-facilitator of the Indian Storytelling Network; and he is the Assistant Director of the East-West Center for Counselling and Training, and the Indian Institute of Psychodrama.
